BASTIEN UND BASTIENNE REWORKING

On the 18th and 19th of April, Sebastiano will be playing in the reworking of W. A. Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne led by James Oldham and a team of artistic directors from the Waste Paper Opera Company.

Both shows start at 7.30pm at @AE Harris, 110 Northwood Road in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.

Entrance: £5 (£4) – Tickets on the door

BIRMINGHAM UNIVERSITY PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

On the 17th of March, Sebastiano will play with the Birmingham University Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Daniele Rosina, at the Birmingham Town Hall. The program include Elgar’ Enigma Variations and Orff’s Carmina Burana.

Tickets: £15, £10 (conc.), £5 (students). Concert strats at 6pm.

LIVE WITH DECIBEL AT FRONTIERS FESTIVAL

Sebastiano will play with Ed Bennett’s Decibel ensemble on the 12th of March at the Frontiers Festival at Birmingham Conservatoire. The program includes Ed Bennett’s New Work for violin and ensemble (Premiere), Joe Cutler’s Extended Play (Premiere), Sean Clancy’s I See Now Why People Hide, Laurence Crane’s Classic Stride and Glide, Howard Skempton’s Rising to a Crescendo, Michael Wolters’s German Folk Tunes, Damien Harron’s So Macho and Ed Bennett’s Stop-Motion Music.

Tickets are £4 (£2 concessions). Concert starts at 7:30pm.

The program includes Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis, Ginastera’s Suite from Estancia and Puccini’s Messa di Gloria.
