CAMEO DANCE PIECE BY RICCARDO BUSCARINI

Sebastiano has played double bass for composer Alberto Ruiz Soler who wrote the music for Riccardo Buscarini’s Cameo dance piece. Cameo is a game in which narrative conventions play both as enemies and best friends. The piece is inspired by the work of Alfred Hitchcock and refers to the conventional narrative correspondence of three fundamental components: non-verbal communication, sound and framing.
Cameo was performed at The Place Prize, Robin Howard Dance Theatre, The Place, London on the 16th (premiere) and 26th of September 2010, and it has reached the final of the prestigious The Place Prize which will take place in April 2011.
